Here are a few more shots from where my work has been displayed.

First is a Make Up artist I have used in a previous shoot who has used my photographs on her website.

Second is my University groups exhibition. We created a website to advertise the work.

Current Project Work (Term 2)

This is the work I am currently making for my project. The work produced in this term will be part of an exhibition which is held on the 8th-20th March 2010 at the Arts Organisation next to Nottingham Train Station. The purpose of this project is to explore how clothing works with backgrounds. In the case of the project I have chosen I am looking at Wedding Dresses with locations such as Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Hall, Elvaston Castle. Please feel free to comment on the photographs.

Below are a few samples of my work. I have lowered the Resolution dramatically and stamped copyright on the photographs to prevent theft of the Photographs. Please ask permission if you would like to view the photograph larger.

I have recently had a few publications printed.

The First being Platform Magazine. This was published in November 2009.

I covered a Freshers week event for Nottingham Trent University – TRENT ARMY. This is one of NTU’s main nights out during freshers week and the photographs were published in Nottingham Trent Universities Student Union Magazine – Platform.

The Second being Derby Evening Telegraph. This was published Saturday December 5th 2009.

The news article I covered was of a Girl who has reached the Final in Young Hairdresser of the Year. Not only has she done this but is also a Beyonce Lookalike.

Derby Evening Telegraph Freelance Work

This is the Christmas Lights switching on in Ilkeston Town Centre.

A few photographs were requested to be put online so they could view them.

A few more Photographs that have been taken for my current project. I feel that the photographs are more visually exciting on black background rather than white.

Also Silhouettes and One light setup works better than full lighting in which all of the model is revealed.

Cont… Project Work (1st Term)

This is a continuation on my project. I sent an email out to all students in Nottingham Trent University asking for models with corsets. Here are some of the photographs I took today with the first model.

I decided to desaturate them as I found the photographs more visually exciting than they were in colour. Please leave any criticism below or on my facebook wall.

University Work – Second Year Project Term One

These are a few of the photographs I have produced for my current project at University.

I am interested in the shapes and forms of the human body which are emphasized through lighting. I am also going to work with models who have corsets to create more of a dramatic effect. Keep an eye on the blog for the photographs !

Derelict Fashion Shoot

Contacted model off net-model a week or so ago and arranged to do a photoshoot at a derelict building on Monday 31st August. So we both turned up and the shoot went amazingly well. I am really pleased with photographs and have started to edit them. The model (remains anonymous) also brought a friend who wanted to get into modelling so I took photographs of both of them and to be frankly honest the girl who has just started out did well and pulled some amazing photographs.

Photographs of this shoot should be on my website within the next few weeks hopefully.

Baby Portraits (Tuesday am)

Portrait session went really well on Tuesday. Location Portrait shoot at Elvaston Castle of a Two year old girl. Looked at photos on computer and am really pleased with them. Printed proofs out within same day and gave to client who were also very pleased with the photographs.

Client will hand proofs and photograph order form back on Thursday and will take a week for the photographs to be printed and handed over.

Overall successful photoshoot
